(a) The Arkansas State Board of Acupuncture and Related Techniques shall within sixty (60) days of August 1, 1997, and every May thereafter hold a meeting and elect from its membership a president, a secretary, and a treasurer for terms set by the board. (b) (1) It shall be the duty of the board to meet regularly one (1) time in every six (6) months. (2) Special meetings of the board may be called at any time at the pleasure of the President of the Arkansas State Board of Acupuncture and Related Techniques or by the Secretary of the Arkansas State Board of Acupuncture and Related Techniques on the request of any two (2) full members of the board. (3) Three (3) full members shall constitute a quorum at any meeting of the board. (c) The board shall determine by its own rules the time and manner of giving notice to members of meetings and other matters. (d) Any action of the board shall require an affirmative vote of a majority of the full membership of the board, excluding the ex officio member. Acts 1997, No. 816, § 10.
