Duties of Secretary of Senate, Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives, and other officers

(a) The Secretary of the Senate and the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives, with their respective clerical forces, shall perform all duties required in the engrossment and enrollment of bills and all necessary work as clerks of committees. (b) The employees of the Senate shall perform such duties during the regular session of the General Assembly and during the interim between the convening of special sessions, fiscal sessions, and the regular sessions of the General Assembly as may be provided by the Rules of the Senate or by the Senate Efficiency Committee, subject to the approval of the Senate.
