9-969. Applicability of workers' compensation law This article shall be supplemental and in addition to the workers' compensation law, but firemen and their beneficiaries receiving compensation under those provisions of law shall not receive the benefits provided by this article during the period they receive such compensation, except in the event such compensation is less than the benefits provided by this article, then the relief and pension fund shall pay the deficiency as determined by the board of trustees.
