9-968. Exemption of pension from process; prohibition of assignments; exception A. No portion of the pension fund or the distributive portions thereof shall be subject to attachment, execution or other judicial process for the satisfaction of a debt or claim against the member or his beneficiaries, and assignments or transfers of any distributive portion shall be void. B. Nothing in this section exempts property from court orders which are the result of a judgment for arrearages of child support or for a child support debt.
