30-683. Intergovernmental agreements; inspections; training programs; mammography facilities A. The department, subject to the approval of the governor, may enter into agreements with the federal government, other states or interstate agencies to perform on a cooperative basis with the federal government, other states or interstate agencies inspections or other functions relating to control of sources of radiation. B. The department may institute training programs for the purpose of qualifying personnel to carry out this chapter and make such personnel available for participation in any program of the federal government, other states or interstate agencies in furtherance of the purposes of this chapter. C. The department shall annually inspect facilities that provide diagnostic or screening mammography examinations.
