28-8133. Demonstration or pilot projects A. The department may conduct demonstration or pilot projects to evaluate the effectiveness of new, extended, improved or integrated public transportation services, bicycle activities, pedestrian activities, intermodal transportation activities, and car pooling or van pooling activities in meeting regional transportation needs or in improving air quality. B. These projects may be funded with general state revenues appropriated by the legislature for this purpose.
