28-2485. Safety requirements; compliance Notwithstanding any other law, a motor vehicle that is eligible to be licensed under this article is in compliance with the safety requirements of the laws of this state relating to motor vehicles if the original safety equipment placed on the motor vehicle by the manufacturer of the motor vehicle is in good operating condition or if the original equipment has been replaced by equipment equal to or more efficient than the original equipment.
