(a) The necessary clerical and other expenses of the commission shall be paid in the same manner as provided in Section 41-9-662 for the payment of expenses of members, consultants, or officers of the commission. (b) All officers, departments, and agencies of the state government shall cooperate with the commission and, when requested by the commission, render to it such assistance as the officer, department, or agency can without interfering with the discharge of its other regular duties.
