AMENDED BY ACT 2026-162, EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2026. SEE ACT FOR REVISED LANGUAGE. (a) An individual or entity who does not hold a license as a massage therapist, physical therapist, chiropractor, or athletic trainer, or a license for a massage therapy establishment, shall not use the words “massage” or “bodywork” on any sign or other form of advertising describing services performed by the individual or within the establishment. (b) Any advertisement by a massage therapist or massage therapy establishment shall contain the license number of the massage therapist or massage therapy establishment.
