(a) The financial exploitation of an adult with a disability in which the value of the property taken exceeds two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) constitutes financial exploitation of an adult with a disability in the first degree. (b) Financial exploitation of an adult with a disability in the first degree is a Class B felony.
