(a) The attorney general may appoint two (2) deputies, one (1) for civil affairs and one (1) for criminal affairs. Each deputy shall be a member of the Wyoming bar in good standing and shall serve at the pleasure of the attorney general. Each deputy shall have the qualifications and perform the duties required by the attorney general. (b) When a deputy is appointed the attorney general shall file in the office of the secretary of state a certificate of appointment and the official oath of office of the deputy. The deputy shall not perform any official act until the certificate has been filed.
