(a) In addition to any other remedies, a person suffering pecuniary loss because of a violation by another person of this article may bring an action in any court of competent jurisdiction and shall recover all of the following: (i) The greater of five hundred dollars ($500.00) or twice the amount of the pecuniary loss; (ii) Costs and reasonable attorney fees.
