(a) This act shall be known as the Wyoming Veterinary Medical Practice Act. (b) It is hereby declared that the practice of veterinary medicine is a privilege which is granted by legislative authority in the interest of the public health, safety and welfare, and to assure the public of the highest competency and professional standards by persons licensed to practice veterinary medicine.
