(a) The board may grant a temporary license to practice as a physician assistant to a person who: (i) Completes a temporary license application; (ii) Meets the requirements of W.S. 33-26-504(b); and (iii) Pays the temporary license fee prescribed in W.S. 33-26-507. (b) A temporary license is valid until the next board meeting following the date of issuance. The board may extend the temporary license at its discretion upon a showing of good cause for a period not to exceed one (1) year from the original date of issuance of the temporary license.
