(a) A temporary license may be issued to any dentist or dental hygienist who has applied for licensure and who exhibits good standing in another jurisdiction of the United States or Canada and has qualified for the requirements to be employed as an instructor at a dental hygiene school. (b) The temporary educator’s license shall be valid only until the meeting of the board at which the educator's application for standard licensure is considered. (c) The temporary educator license does not permit the licensee to practice outside of the educational institution at which the licensee is employed as an instructor.
