(a) The Wyoming language and literacy program is created. (b) The purpose of this act is to ensure that every student in kindergarten through grade twelve (12) develops strong language and literacy skills by establishing a comprehensive system of evidence based language and literacy instruction, assessment, intervention and professional development that supports educators, engages families and promotes literacy proficiency for all Wyoming students.
