Wisconsin Code § 95.65

Intrastate transportation of white-tailed deer

(1) In this section, “cervid” means a member of the family of animals that includes deer and moose.
(2) The department shall impose the same requirements on
the intrastate transportation of white-tailed deer that it imposes
on the intrastate transportation of other cervids.
