Wisconsin Code § 891.38

Officer’s certificate as evidence

The certificate
of the sheriff or other proper officer endorsed upon the summons,
stating the time when he or she received the same for service,
shall be presumptive evidence that he or she did receive the summons for service on the day in such certificate named.
