Wisconsin Code § 865.12

Employment of appraisers

The personal representative may employ a qualified and disinterested appraiser to
assist in ascertaining values of any assets where valuation is subject to reasonable doubt. The name and address of any appraiser
so employed shall be indicated on the inventory with the item or
items appraised by the appraiser, notwithstanding the omission
from the inventory of the value thereof. Any interested person
may invoke the jurisdiction of the court to require an appraisal or
to contest said appraisals.
