Central Wisconsin Center for the Developmentally Disabled

There is established a new institution to
be located near the city of Madison and to be known as the Central Wisconsin Center for the Developmentally Disabled. The department, with the approval of the governor, is authorized to purchase lands for a suitable site and to erect and equip such buildings as it deems necessary from funds appropriated for the longrange building program. Such institution when constructed shall
be maintained and operated by the department and all laws pertaining to the care of mentally deficient patients shall apply.
