In this subchapter, unless the context requires otherwise: (1) “Board” means the physician assistant affiliated credentialing board. (1L) “Compact” means the PA licensure compact under s. 448.988. (1m) “Compact privilege” means a compact privilege, as defined in s. 448.988 (2) (b), that is granted under the compact to an individual to practice in this state. (2) “Physician assistant” means a person who is licensed under this subchapter or who holds a compact privilege. (3) “Podiatrist” has the meaning given in s. 448.60 (3). (4) “Podiatry” has the meaning given in s. 448.60 (4).
