Wisconsin Code § 440.86

Penalties

(1) Any person who violates this subchapter or a rule promulgated under this subchapter may be fined
not more than $1,000 or imprisoned for not more than 6 months
or both.
(2) In addition to or in lieu of the penalties under sub. (1) and
the remedies under s. 440.85 (2), any person who violates this
subchapter or a rule promulgated under this subchapter may be
required to forfeit not more than $1,000 for each violation. Each
day of continued violation constitutes a separate violation.
