Wisconsin Code § 41.12

Council on tourism

(1) The council on tourism
shall advise the secretary on matters relating to tourism. Five
members of the council on tourism shall assist the secretary in
formulating a statewide marketing strategy. The 5 members shall
be selected by a vote of the council on tourism from among the
members, other than ex officio members, of the council on
tourism.
(2) The council on tourism shall develop a plan to assist and
encourage private companies located in this state to promote this
state in their advertisements. Upon the adoption of a plan by the
council on tourism, the secretary shall consider implementing the
plan.
