Wildlife control in urban communities

(1) The
department shall establish a program to award matching grants to
any city, village, or town with a population density of not less
than 125 persons per square mile for up to 50 percent of the costs
for projects to plan wildlife abatement measures or to engage in
wildlife control efforts or both.
(2) A grant awarded under this section may not exceed
$5,000.
(3) The department shall promulgate rules establishing criteria for awarding grants under this section.
