(1) The department shall adopt by rule a graduated schedule of reasonable license and review fees to be charged for solid waste license and review activities. (2) Solid waste license and review activities consist of reviewing feasibility reports, plans of operation, closure plans and license applications, issuing determinations of feasibility, plan of operation approvals and operating licenses, inspecting construction projects and taking other actions in administering ss. 289.21 to 289.32, 289.43, 289.47, 289.53 and 289.95. (3) The department shall establish solid waste review fees at a level anticipated to recover the solid waste program staff review costs of conducting solid waste review activities.
