Milwaukee Lakeshore State Park

(1) STEWARDSHIP FUNDING. (a) From the appropriation under s. 20.866
(2) (ta), the department shall provide up to $4,500,000 for the development of Milwaukee Lakeshore State Park. For purposes of
s. 23.0917, moneys provided under this paragraph shall be treated
as moneys obligated under either or both of the subprograms under s. 23.0917 (3) and (4).
(b) From the appropriation under s. 20.866 (2) (tz) , the department shall provide up to $500,000 for development of a state
park as described in par. (a). For purposes of s. 23.0915 (1) ,
moneys provided under this paragraph shall be treated as moneys
expended for general property development.
(2) OTHER FUNDING. (a) The department shall expend the
following amounts from the appropriation under s. 20.370 (5)
(cq) for the development of a state park as described in sub. (1):
1. Up to $2,400,000 of the moneys appropriated from that
appropriation for fiscal year 1999-2000.
2. Up to $2,000,000 of the moneys appropriated from that
appropriation for fiscal year 2000-01.
(b) Of the amounts authorized for expenditure under par. (a)
1., the department shall provide up to $400,000 to the Milwaukee
Art Museum for the construction of a breakwater.
(c) Beginning on July 1, 2000, the department shall expend
from the appropriation under s. 20.370 (7) (fs) $1,000,000 for a
state park as described in sub. (1).
