There is appropriated to the Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc., for the following program:
(1) TRAINING OF HEALTH PERSONNEL. (a) Medical student
tuition assistance. The amounts in the schedule for medical education, teaching, and research under s. 39.155.
(b) Family medicine education. The amounts in the schedule
for the development and operation of programs to support the recruitment and training of medical students and residents in family
and community medicine.
(c) Principal repayment, interest, and rebates; biomedical research and technology incubator. A sum sufficient to reimburse
s. 20.866 (1) (u) for the payment of principal and interest costs incurred in financing the grants under s. 13.48 (31), to make the
payments determined by the building commission under s.
13.488 (1) (m) that are attributable to the proceeds of obligations
incurred in financing the grants under s. 13.48 (31), and to make
payments under an agreement or ancillary arrangement entered
into under s. 18.06 (8) (a).

(e) Principal repayment and interest. A sum sufficient to reimburse s. 20.866 (1) (u) for the payment of principal and interest
costs incurred in aiding the construction of a basic science education facility, in aiding the funding of a health information technology center, and in aiding the remodel, development, and renovation of 2 community medical education facilities in northeast
Wisconsin and central Wisconsin and to make payments under an
agreement or ancillary arrangement entered into under s. 18.06
(8) (a).
(f) Psychiatry and behavioral health residency program. The
amounts in the schedule for a psychiatry and behavioral health
residency program to support the recruitment and training of psychiatry and behavioral health residents.
(k) Tobacco-related illnesses. All moneys received from the
department of health services under s. 255.15 (3) (b), for tobacco
use prevention and cessation activities.
(2) RESEARCH. (g) Cancer research. As a continuing appropriation, from moneys received as amounts designated under s.
71.10 (5f) (b) , 50 percent of the net amounts certified under s.
71.10 (5f) (h) 3., for cancer research under s. 255.055.
(h) Prostate cancer research.
