Application to foreign corporations

Except
as provided in s. 180.1708, this chapter applies to all foreign corporations transacting business in this state on or after January 1,
1991. The enactment of this chapter does not require a foreign

corporation authorized to transact business in this state on January 1, 1991, to obtain a new certificate of authority under subch.
