Budget hearings

After the filing of the compilation
required under s. 16.43, the governor or governor-elect shall consider all requests and all other information which may be of value
in understanding the issues and problems to be dealt with in the
executive budget. The governor or governor-elect may hold public hearings determined to be necessary to gather further information from agencies, interested citizens and others. The department of administration and all other agencies shall cooperate
fully with the governor or governor-elect in providing information
and analyses as requested.
