Governor’s energy awards

(1) AWARDS. The
governor may issue awards to recognize outstanding accomplishments or efforts related to energy conservation or renewable energy systems. Awards may be made for all of the following:
(a) Public and private sector activities.
(b) New building design, building renovation or upgrading
and maintaining existing equipment.
(c) Demand-side management programs.
(d) Contributions by engineers, architects and other
professionals.
(e) Industrial applications.
(2) RECOMMENDATIONS. The department of administration,
department of safety and professional services, and public service commission shall make recommendations to the governor
for awards under sub. (1).
