Licensure for Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps instructors

(1) Notwithstanding s. 118.19 (4m),
(6) to (9), (12), and (14), the department shall grant a license to
an individual to provide instruction to pupils enrolled in a Junior
Reserve Officer Training Corps program offered in the high
school grades if the individual is eligible for licensure under s.
118.19 (4) and (10) and the individual satisfies all of the
following:
(a) Possesses a bachelor’s degree.
(b) Successfully completed a Junior Reserve Officer Training
Corps Instructor Certification program.
(2) A license under sub. (1) authorizes an individual to teach
the courses for which the individual has successfully completed
the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Instructor Certification process.
