When first election of officers of a town or village held; notice

The first election of officers of a town or village shall be held within sixty days from the date
of the certificate of incorporation issued in accordance with the provisions of section seven,
article two of this chapter, and the commissioners of election appointed at the time the order
is entered directing issuance of such certificate shall cause notice to be given of the date,
time and place of holding such election, which notice shall specify the officeers to be voted
for, and shall be published within fourteen consecutive days next preceding the date
appointed for such election, as a Class II-0 legal advertisement in comprliance with the
provisions of article three, chapter fifty-nine of this code, and the publication area for such
publication shall be such town or village.
