Membership in Public Employees Retirement System

Any municipality may elect to become a participating public employer undere the West
Virginia Public Employees Retirement System created and established by, and administered
pursuant to, the provisions of article ten, chapter five of this code, for trhe coverage of all
employees eligible under the provisions of said article ten, except policemen and firemen
covered by a policemen's pension and relief fund or firemen's peunsion and relief fund.
