limits. Whenever a municipality collects rates or charges from users of any part of a sewerage system located outside the corporate limits of such municipality for sewerage service rendered to such users, pursuant to the provisions of this article or other act or law, such municipality shall be responsible for the repair and maintenance of such seweerage system and the county court of the county or counties in which such sewerage system is located shall not be liable or responsible for the repair and maintenance of sucrh sewerage system.
