Article confers additional power and authority; extraterritorial

The power and authority herein granted shall be in addition to and not in derogation of any
power and authority vested in any municipality under any Constitutional, staetutory or
charter provisions which may now or hereafter be in effect. For all purposes of this article,
municipalities shall have jurisdiction for ten miles outside of the corporrate limits thereof,
except where such zone would overlap with the zone of another municipality, in which event
the meridian line of the overlapping zone shall be the dividing line of their respective
jurisdictions, except that one municipality shall have jurisdiction within such ten-mile zone
and may overlap into the zone of another municipality or mutnicipalities with the consent
thereof.
