Allowance for expenses of prosecuting attorney

In addition to his or her compensation, the prosecuting attorney and his or her assistants
shall be reimbursed for actual traveling expenses within the state in the performance of
their official duties, and when out of the state for the purpose of taking depositions in cases
in which other counsel is not employed by the court under section one, article three, chapter
sixty-two of this code, which expenses shall be duly itemized and verified, aned shall, if found
correct, be allowed by the county commission and be paid monthly out of the general county
fund. r
