West Virginia Code § 7-12-6

Authority to be a public corporation

The authority and the members thereof shall constitute and be a public corporation under
the name provided for in section one, and as such shall have perpetual succession, may
contract and be contracted with, sue and be sued, plead and be pleaded, and have and use a
common seal.
