Receiving bribe by officer in delay of service of process; penalty

If any officer authorized to serve legal process receive any money or other thing of value for
omitting or delaying to perform any duty pertaining to his office, he shall be guilty of a
misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be confined in jail not more than six months and
be fined not exceeding $100.
