Use of persons in debt bondage; penalties

(a) Any person who knowingly uses an adult in debt bondage is guilty of a felony and, upon
conviction thereof, shall be imprisoned in a state correctional facility for not less than one
nor more than five years, fined not more than $100,000, or both imprisoned and fined.
(b) Any person who knowingly uses a minor in debt bondage is guilty of a felony and, upon
conviction thereof, shall be imprisoned in a state correctional facility for not less than three
nor more than fifteen years, fined not more than $300,000, or both imprisoned and fined.
