Limitation on amount to be sold

Not more than ten gallons of liquor may be sold by a retail licensee to a person at one time
without the approval of the commissioner or his or her representative, but a sale in excess of
ten gallons may be made to a religious organization purchasing wine for sacramental
purposes: Provided, That this section does not apply to purchases by private clubs as defined
in article seven of this chapter. e
