Notice of settlement to chief inspector and supervisor of public offices

Every officer who is required by law to settle his accounts shall, at least fifteen days before
making such settlement, give, by registered mail, to the chief inspector and supervisor of
public offices, notice of the time and place of such settlement, and the name of the court,
officer, board, body or commission before or with whom the same is to be made.
