Interagency cooperation

(a) State agencies and public and private schools shall cooperate with a law-enforcement
agency that is investigating any missing child or missing and endangered child report and
shall furnish any information, including confidential information, that will assist the law-
enforcement agency in completing the investigation.
(b) Information provided by a state agency or a public or private school may not be released
to any person outside the law-enforcement agency or the clearinghouse, except as provided
by rules of the West Virginia State Police.
