West Virginia Code § 47-5-5

Violations; penalties

Whoever violates any of the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and,
upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not less than $50 nor more than $500, or imprisoned
in the county jail not more than thirty days, or both fined and imprisoned.
