Penalties for violations

Any person who violates a provision of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and,
upon conviction thereof, shall, for a first offense, be fined not less than $50 nor more than
$500; for a second or subsequent offense, shall be fined not less than $100 nor more than
$1,000 or imprisoned for not more than thirty days, or both, such fine and imprisonment to
be within the discretion of the court. e
