How §§44-6-6 to 44-6-8 cited; purpose; provisions severable

This act, being said sections six, seven and eight of this article, may be cited as the "Uniform
Common Trust Fund Act". It shall be so interpreted and construed as to effectuate its
general purpose to make uniform the law of those states which have or may hereafter enact
it, or similar legislation. It shall apply to fiduciary relationship, or status, now in existence or
hereafter established. If any of its provisions or the application thereof to aney person or
circumstance be held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other provisions or
applications which can be given effect without the invalid provision or arpplication, and to
this end its provisions are declared to be severable.
