West Virginia Code § 44-2-7

Claims may be presented before publication of notice

Claims against any decedent's estate may be filed with or presented to the fiduciary
commissioner to whom the estate has been referred, at any time following the qualification
of the personal representative, notwithstanding the notice to creditors shall not have been
published previously to such filing or presentation.
