Effect of presenting claim as to statute of limitations

The filing with or presentation to the fiduciary commissioner or to the county clerk of any
claim against the estate of a decedent shall, so far as the running of any statute of
limitations is involved, have the same effect as the institution of a civil action or suit on such
claim.
