Taking testimony as to lost records -- Record

He shall provide a well-bound book at the expense of the county in which to record such
testimony as he may take for the purpose aforesaid. Such testimony shall be taken at his
office, between the hours of nine o'clock a.m., and five o'clock p.m., and the taking thereof
shall be commenced not later than one year and concluded not later than five years after
such burning, loss or destruction. e
