Any citizen of this state shall have a lien upon any domestic steamboat, steamer or vessel, propelled wholly or in part by steam, gas, fluid, naphtha, or electricity, which plies upon the navigable waters of this state, and which is registered in this state, for all work and labor done upon such vessel, and for all materials, goods, wares and merchandise furnished such vessel by any such citizen. e
