Report to the Legislature

(a) By January 1, 2007, the Commissioner shall submit a report to the Legislature. The
report shall contain analysis of the impact of legislation enacted during the 2005 regular
legislative session upon rates and insurance availability in the state.
(b) The Insurance Commissioner shall by proposal of legislative or procedural rules,
pursuant to article three, chapter twenty-nine-a of this code, put forth analytical criteria and
methodology of all factors to be considered in the report. This purpose of this section is to
assure that all relevant factors of concern to the Legislature regarding the effect of the
reforms enacted in this article, any savings to consumers, the pruomotion of insurance
availability and impacts on insurance industry services and performance are fully reviewed
and addressed. t
